>> To mount drill rods, bits, and core barrel etc drilling tools with a diamond drill rig.
>> To utilize a diamond drill bit attached to the end of drill rods to cut a cylindrical core of solid rock.
>> To retrieve the core samples to the surface by retracting the winch cable which located on the top end of the core barrel, lowered inside the rod string.
>> To remove the core sample from the core barrel, break it into small pieces to make it fit into the sample trays and catalogue.
